You know the season is drawing closer when the Pre-season All-American and All-SEC teams are being released. Phil Steele released his list on Monday and several Alabama football players found themselves included in the list.
While no Tide players were named to the first-team All-American list for the offensive side of the ball, two did make the list on the other side. Tight end O.J. Howard made the second-team with center Ryan Kelly and running back Derrick Henry coming in on the third-team. Linebacker Reggie Ragland and defensive tackle A’Shawn Robinson are the two that garnered a first-team selection for the defense.
