Alabama's football team is headed back to 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.
The White House announced it would host the Crimson Tide at 3 p.m. ET Wednesday, March 2. It will be the fourth such trip for Nick Saban's Alabama program during the Barack Obama administration.
The event has been held in both the East Room and South Lawn on the lawn in previous Alabama visits to the White House. Typically, the team visits Washington after spring practices conclude in April. It last did a March trip following the 2009 national title.
President Obama called Nick Saban in January to congratulate the Tide on winning its fourth national title in seven seasons.
