Coming into the season, Alabama football was blessed with significant depth at the running back position, at least in terms of blue chip talent. In reality, Brian Robinson has dominated the snaps more than most projected him to, and now the only other back to get significant time has been lost for the season.
This is a shame for Jase, who was showing so much promise. He had particularly carved out a niche as a pass catcher out of the backfield, especially in the red zone, amassing ten receptions for 97 yards and three TDs on the young season.
