Some Alabama football fans embrace change, as in whatever staff changes Nick Saban makes, must be what the Tide needs. Other fans worry over the negative impact lack of coaching continuity may cause.
We embrace both responses. Whatever Nick sees fit, but while doing it, try to stem the pattern of revolving door coaches. The Alabama Crimson Tide has added considerable coaching experience. Eight members of the 10-man staff of assistants have Coordinator or Head Coach experience.
The position assignments affected all but one of the returning Crimson Tide assistants. Jeff Banks is the only assistant whose job has not been affected.
