Nick Saban now has a former assistant off Bryan Harsin’s staff at Auburn University.
Respectable sources have confirmed to Touchdown Alabama Magazine that Cornelius Williams is expected to join the Crimson Tide’s coaching staff as an analyst. Williams earned the job coaching wide receivers for the Tigers in 2021, but he was fired after one season.
Three players caught 30+ passes for Auburn, including Kobe Hudson (44 catches) and Shedrick Jackson (40 receptions).
Williams, an alum of Troy University, started his coaching career as a graduate assistant for South Alabama in 2010. He excelled in coaching receivers at Murray State (2011), North Alabama (2012), Jacksonville State (2013), UAB (2014), and Troy (2015-20).
