On Monday the University of Alabama football team along with hundreds of other athletes from the university led a march to protest racial injustice within the country.
The march took place at 4 p.m. beginning at the Mal Moore Athletic Facility and ending at Foster Auditorium’s schoolhouse door.
Leading the march was head coach Nick Saban who has been supportive of his player’s cause.
“Today I’m a proud parent, said Saban. “I’m proud of our team, I’m proud of our messengers over here and I’m very proud of the message. I’m very proud of the ‘All lives can’t matter until Black Lives Matter’ video that we did early on that I think had a very positive impact.
