Alabama Football: Former QB Blake Sims Makes NFL

ICYMI: Alabama Players of the Game – Week 2

Former Alabama football quarterback Blake Sims finally made his NFL dreams come true. Multiple outlets, including Yahoo Sports, SEC Country, and 247Sports reported that Sims officially signed with the Atlanta Falcons today.

The most interesting part of this announcement is that Sims did not make the team as a QB – but as a running back.

The 6’0″, 24 year old from Gainesville, Georgia has two collegiate national championship rings. Sims played for Bama as a running back and backup quarterback for the 2011 and 2012 Alabama football teams.
