All of the nine Alabama football victories over LSU have been important. Some have been momentous. As we head into another one this Saturday night, ranking them seems important.
I remember sitting in my parents’ den in 2007 watching LSU eke out a victory over Nick Saban’s first Alabama football team in Tuscaloosa, thinking, “Saban has to go back to Baton Rouge next season for the first time since he left. They’re going to hate him. We’re going to win.”
The 2008 overtime victory in Death Valley marked the first in a string of nine over the next ten years.
