Standout California safety Peyton Woodyard of St. John Bosco High School flipped his commitment from Georgia to Alabama Tuesday afternoon. The 6’2 safety from Bellflower, CA had been committed to the Bulldogs since January. Woodyard is the number 11 safety in the 2024 class and brings the Tide’s commit total to 16 players for the 2024 cycle. Woodyard joins an already deep 2024 Alabama Football recruiting class.
The Tide has picked up a lot of talented defensive backs on the recruiting trail in the last couple of years. Woodyard will join Caleb Down, Jahlil Hurley, Dezz Ricks, Tony Mitchell, Brayson Hubbard and Zabien Brown in the near future.
