Nick Saban announced the dismissal of the JUCO transfer in a one-sentence statement Thursday afternoon.
"Charles Baldwin has been dismissed from the program for a violation of team rules," the statement read.
Well, that was short lived. After being one of the most coveted Junior College recruits in the country, the 5-star offensive tackle has already been kicked out of Alabama. It's a little odd, as nothing I have seen has ever mentioned any character or academic concerns associated with Baldwin. Rolltide.com has already removed his name from the online roster.
As of now, Saban has not made it known to us what the JUCO lineman did to get himself kicked off the team, and it may be one of those cases where we never know.
