Four-star offensive tackle Rafiti Ghirmai has skyrocketed up recruiting boards in the past few months and now is in the process of narrowing his options.
“I released a top-six school list on June 14 and those schools were Alabama, Florida, LSU, Miami, Texas and UCLA,” Ghirmai told GN. “With those schools I knew I could win a ring, or I have built a great relationship with the coaches. I just had a connection with those schools that I didn’t have with the other ones.”
Ghirmai (6 feet 4, 290 pounds), from Frisco (Texas) Wakeland in the Dallas suburbs, is among the top-20 offensive tackle prospects in the nation and is a top-275 prospect overall.
