STARKVILLE, Miss. -- The Crimson Tide women's basketball team fell to the Mississippi State Bulldogs 61-52 in the final game of the season.
Ranked No. 12 in the conference, Alabama finished up the season with an overall record of 15-14, 4-12 SEC.
The Tide started off the game on the right foot, taking the lead early before trying to play catch-up for most of the game. After a 4-0 start, Mississippi State retaliated, scoring nine baskets in three minutes. By the end of the 1st quarter, Alabama was trailing 17-9 but it would attempt a come back.
