Alabama’s coaching search continued on Tuesday as the Crimson Tide are expected to hire Ole Miss special teams coordinator Coleman Hutzler to the same position according to Matt Zenitz of On3. Hutzler has also updated his social media announcing the hiring.
In his bio, Hutzler lists himself as the Crimson Tide’s new special teams coordinator and outside linebackers coach. During the 2021 season, Drew Svoboda and Sal Sunseri filled those spots and there is currently no official word on both coaches’ status for the 2022 year.
Hutzler began his coaching career at San Diego as a defensive assistant in 2006 before leaving for Stanford as a recruiting assistant and then a defensive assistant from 2007-09.
