Alabama defensive coordinator Pete Golding arrested for DUI

Alabama defensive coordinator Pete Golding was arrested this morning for driving under the influence.

The news came from the Tuscaloosa County Sheriff’s Office as the incident happened in Northport.

His bond is $500 as it comes after Golding performed well in the Crimson Tide’s 2022 recruiting class. He helped sign eight of Alabama’s 24 student-athletes, including five-stars Jihaad Campbell and Aaron Anderson. Golding brought in Shazz Preston, Kendrick Law, Jaheim Oatis, Shawn Murphy, Danny Lewis Jr., and Eli Ricks (transfer). Nick Saban raved about Golding’s personality and recruiting abilities in Wednesday’s presser. The 37-year-old cares about the young men entering the program.
