Alabama football’s linebacker, Justin Jefferson was flagged and ejected for targeting in the 2nd half of Alabama’s matchup against USF on Saturday.
The linebacker will miss the first half of Alabama’s game against Wisconsin as a result.
The Crimson Tide’s defensive coordinator Kane Wommack met with media to discuss his reaction towards Jefferson’s ejection.
“Obviously it’s always disappointing when you have a dynamic player that’s not available for one half of the game,” Wommack said. “We looked at the play. I’ve looked at it from about every angle that I could. I think we’ve just got to tell the young man, ‘You’ve just got to keep playing’.
