The University of Alabama volleyball team defeated Missouri 3-2 in a five-set victory Sunday afternoon at Foster Auditorium.
Alabama (8-10, 2-2 SEC) won the first set, 25-21, only to lose the next two sets to Missouri (15-2, 3-1 SEC) and fall behind, 2-1. The Crimson Tide forced a fifth set with a 25-17 win in the fourth, and won the deciding set 15-11. The loss to the Tide was the first SEC loss of the season for the Tigers and was their first SEC loss since Nov. 24, 2014, when Alabama defeated Missouri in Columbia.
Krystal Rivers led the offense with a season-high 22 kills and 11 digs, earning her first double-double of the season.
