Alabama football’s defensive coordinator Kane Wommack believes the Crimson Tide’s defense will be different in 2025 because of the addition of one glaring tangible.
This tangible is the experience several young players on the Alabama defense gained in 2024 when their numbers were called upon to step up in key situations. One of these young players, who is an example of this, is the Tide’s sophomore cornerback, Zabien Brown.
Brown was able to make an immediate impact last season, starting all 13 games and leading all true-freshman cornerbacks in college football with three interceptions.
Wommack feels Brown’s continued growth heading into his second season exemplifies what should make the Alabama defense really good next season.
