Alabama defensive back Tony Brown has earned second-team All-America honors in two track events.
Brown receives the honors after finishing as a semifinalist in both the 100-meter dash and 4×100-meter relay at the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships in Eugene, Oregon last week.
Brown finished 11th in the semifinals of the 100-meter dash with a personal-best time of 10.12 seconds.
In the 4×100-meter relay, Brown, along with senior Steven Gayle and juniors Jareem Richards and Terry Jernigan, finished 14th in the semifinals with a time of 39.19 seconds – Alabama’s second-fastest time of the season.
