For the second straight day, Alabama defensive back Tony Brown has qualified in an event for the NCAA championships in track.
Brown was a part of Alabama’s 4×100 relay, which finished sixth Saturday at the NCAA East Regional at the University of Kentucky in Lexington, Kentucky.
Brown, along with senior Steven Gayle and juniors Jareem Richards and Ruebin Walters, posted a time of 39.07 in their heat to advance them to the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships.
Brown on Friday also qualified for the NCAA championships in the 100-meter dash after finishing ninth in the event with a time of 10.
