Alabama CB Josh Jobe could get his first start vs. Mississippi State

He was thought to be an impactful player for Alabama this season, especially with how good he looked in spring ball and in limited action versus Clemson in last year’s title game, but he has not seen much action through nine games.

This could change on Saturday, as Josh Jobe may potentially receive his first career start versus Mississippi State at Davis Wade Stadium.

Eddie Conyers, the long-time practice official for Alabama, was on the Gary Harris show via Tide 100.9 FM on Friday.

He said he believes Tua Tagovailoa won’t play this weekend, and also stated that the suspended player for the matchup may have been Trevon Diggs.
