STARKVILLE, Miss. | Justin Coleman had been battling turf toe all week and wasn't even guaranteed to suit up for the University of Alabama's basketball game at Mississippi State, but the Crimson Tide was glad he did.
Coleman scored seven points in overtime, including a crucial 3-pointer with 1:11 remaining as UA recorded its initial SEC road win of the season, downing Mississippi State, 82-80.
UA had trailed by four points early in the extra period but a key 3-pointer by Riley Norris sparked a UA comeback, capped by Coleman.
The Crimson Tide saw a seven-point lead evaporate in an 11-0 Mississippi State run and trailed 64-57 with five minutes to play.
