Alabama Basketball: Tide Women Defeat Commodores Advance In SEC Tourney

Alabama basketball scores a SEC tournament win as the Tide Women (18-12) stormed into the tournament with a fiery offense, defeating Vanderbilt in the opening round. This is the first tournament win since 2013 and the second most points scored in the tournament in school history.

The team had four players finish in double figures: Sophomore Shaquera Wade lead the team with 21 points, junior Hannah Cook added 15 points, freshman Jordan Lewis scored 13 points and junior Meoshonti Knight contributed 10 points.
