There is no time for self-pity for the University of Alabama basketball team.
Despite losing its starting point guard Dazon Ingram to season-ending ankle surgery, the Crimson Tide will continue an extended December road trip today when it faces the Clemson Tigers in Greenville, S.C. Despite playing away from Coleman Coliseum since Nov. 20, UA will be looking for a fourth consecutive win.
“It’s next man up,” Alabama head coach Avery Johnson said in a Friday media opportunity. “We’re excited to get back on the road. We’ve had some measure of success so playing in the road is not something our guys are afraid of.
