#BuckleUp folks because Alabama Basketball is not playing around. The Alabama Crimson Tide Men’s Basketball Team had lost to ranked opponents the last 21 times they played one. The last time the Tide beat a ranked team in basketball was January of 2011 when they took down #12 Kentucky.
Then Avery Johnson and the Crimson Tide beat #20 Wichita State 64-60 and all that sadness came to an end. It was also a particularly sweet win because Alabama wanted to hire Wichita State’s coach Gregg Marshall and he decided to stay at Wichita State. We think Alabama ended up with the better end of the deal with Avery Johnson, don’t you?
