Playing a doubleheader on Saturday because of inclement weather on Friday night, the Crimson Tide swept a double header from 8th ranked LSU by score of 6-0 and 4-3. Going for a series sweep on Sunday, the Tigers used a big eighth inning to overtake the Tide and win by a score of 7-5. 'Bama is now 13-6, 2-0 in SEC play on the year. LSU is 12-5, 1-2.
Alabama went into hostile territory this weekend without all of their bullets, but were still able to pull off a series win over 8th ranked LSU. Friday nights tilt was weathered out, setting up a double header on Saturday.
