The North Alabama Lions came to Tuscaloosa on Tuesday sporting a 12 game losing streak and an overall recored of 4-29. The Alabama Crimson Tide was coming off a thrilling series victory over Auburn this past weekend. One team seemed excited to be playing, one did not. The Lions led or were tied from the first inning on until the eighth when the Tide scored three times to pull out the victory. Alabama improved to 23-13 on the season while UNA fell to 4-30. Alabama has won seven of their last eight games.
Freshman left hander Grayson Hitt earned the start for the Tide in the game, coming off his best performance in Crimson last week.
