After taking the series over Auburn this weekend, Alabama baseball was placed number seven on a list of the same number of SEC teams that have a chance of hosting one of the 16 NCAA college baseball post season regionals.
Hosting a regional would be a huge step for this very young baseball squad, and would be a sure step in the right direction of the program.
However, let’s not get too far ahead of ourselves because Alabama’s last two regular season series at Arkansas and a final home series against South Carolina will play a lot into the projections.
