The Alabama Crimson Tide showed they can go toe to toe with the best in the country, but fell just short, losing two out of three to the third ranked Texas A/M Aggies this weekend. TAM won 4-3 on Friday in 10 innings. The Tide evened things up on Saturday 7-4 but the Aggies won the rubber game on Sunday, scoring once in the bottom of the ninth for a 2-1 win. 'Bama can match up with anyone in the country with their weekend pitching rotation, but scoring runs is still a major obstacle for the team.
