Alabama baseball doesn't live up to expectations in 2015

Alabama’s 2015 baseball season will be remembered as a season on the road, a winding, taxing trip that could have been more memorable if it found a way to play up to expectations.

Instead, it was a year defined by inconsistency, from Alabama’s travel-heavy plight — playing all 30 “home games” at least 50 miles from campus — to its struggles at the plate.

“I think for starters, obviously there was disappointment, we didn’t accomplish some things we set out to,” said Alabama head coach Mitch Gaspard in an interview with The Tuscaloosa News last week. Gaspard just completed his sixth season as UA’s coach.
