Starting pitcher Geoffrey Bramblett gave the University of Alabama seven strong innings, but the offense couldn't provide any punch as the Crimson Tide lost to Ole Miss 4-0 on Friday night at Sewell-Thomas Stadium.
Bramblett has thrown 14 innings and given up just three earned runs in his last two starts, but suffered the loss against both the Rebels and Kentucky last weekend. He gave up one unearned run on Friday, striking out eight while allowing just two hits and three walks. Alabama's weekend rotation has given the Crimson Tide four straight quality starts, but the team is just 1-3 with six runs score in those games.
