In a year filled with chaos, Alabama Athletics showed dominance.
We all dealt with the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, but the great ones work around it.
The University of Alabama was consistent in winning championships as football, men’s basketball, gymnastics, and softball all captured a Southeastern Conference Championship. Nick Saban coached the football team to an undefeated national title, Nate Oats took men’s basketball to the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament, Dana Duckworth guided gymnastics to being fifth in the nation, and Patrick Murphy assisted softball to the semifinals of the Women’s College World Series. Baseball also turned in a productive year, reaching the NCAA Regionals.
