Alabama is ranked 3rd in the new Coaches Poll. This means Alabama’s victory over Mississippi State was worth a one spot increase from last week.
After LSU’s losses to Arkansas, and of course Alabama, Florida is the only team besides the Tide that is in the top 10. The SEC as a whole improved in the poll however raising its total number of teams to five… if you count that Mississippi State and Ole Miss are tied for the 25th and final spot in the poll.
