At 11:15 a.m. Saturday, the sign at Bank of the Ozarks on Airport Boulevard in Mobile read "100 degrees." Down the road, Buffalo Bills quarterback AJ McCarron was throwing pass after pass to 10-year-olds. Sometimes the same 10-year-old.
It's one of the unique experiences for the youngsters at the football camp hosted by the former St. Paul's Episcopal and Alabama standout -- being able to run a pass pattern and catch a football thrown by an NFL quarterback.
"It's important for me to give every kid a chance to catch a ball," McCarron said.
