Put God first and let the rest fall into place.
Those are the words in Ryan Anderson’s Twitter bio, a sort of creed for the University of Alabama outside linebacker.
Things have certainly fallen into place for the senior from Daphne High School. After a rocky few years, Anderson, now a graduate student, is in a good place personally and his play on the field and presence in the locker room make him a natural leader for this year’s defense.
For another program and another coach, Anderson might not be playing college football right now.
During his redshirt freshman season in 2012, he was sent home from the BCS National Championship Game in Miami for an undisclosed violation of team rules.
