After review, "one of the greatest game changers in college football history" has been overturned.
The highly anticipated introduction of video and electronic devices for use by college football coaches in the press box and in the locker room, which was initially scheduled to begin this fall and delayed in 2017, was rescinded by the NCAA Football Rules Committee last month.
The soonest the use of in-game video technology, which Arkansas coach Bret Bielema has called "one of the greatest game changers" in the history of the sport and SEC football coaches unanimously support, could come to the college game is now two years away.
