Adam Zucker was new Coke.
The brand was the same, but the taste a little different.
At least, that was the way it was described to him when he took over for Tim Brando to lead CBS Sports' "College Football Today" back in 2014.
Unlike new Coke, however, Zucker didn't flinch as the college football-world adapted to the new taste CBS was offering.
Zucker joined me Thursday on "The Opening Kickoff on WNSP-FM 105.5 to discuss SEC football, specifically, the Auburn offense, the best starting defensive line in the country (hint: it isn't Alabama), the compliment Gus Malzahn gave him and taking over the big chair for one of the country's most popular college football shows.
