The NFL offseason gives Miami Dolphins running back Kenyan Drake more time to devote to his off-the-field passion of charitable endeavors.
On Saturday, that will take him to Caumsett State Park in Lloyd Harbor, New York, in his role as a Smile Train ambassador. Smile Train works with medical professionals to provide free cleft surgery and comprehensive cleft care to children in the developing world. Drake is the host of a family fun day to raise awareness and funds and will lead a 2.4-mile walk.
Then it will be back to Miami for Drake to attend the Dolphins' minicamp on Tuesday through Thursday.
