I’m not sure that there’s been a more anxious high profile signing in recent years at Alabama quite like Najee Harris’. In fairness to Harris, the majority of the smoke came from doing his due diligence taking his officials, as well as hopeful wishing from rival schools like Michigan and Cal, as well as statements made by his family.
Najee Harris’ recruitment got decidedly weird the last six weeks of the season. Harris’ mother and brother were apparently very interested in keeping him close to California, and for a while the Bears were thought to be in the mix.
