It’s been three and a half months since Alabama last played football in public. That’ll end at 2 p.m. Saturday when the annual A-Day Game kicks off at 2 p.m. in Bryant-Denny Stadium.
But this will be a much different Crimson Tide than the group that lost to Ohio State in the Sugar Bowl. The offense will be retooled and still under renovation as a starting quarterback has yet to emerge from the pack.
The Alabama defense figures to be stronger with nearly all of the front-seven returning. There are still several questions to be answered before the summer hiatus.
