Isaiah Hastings signed a National Letter of Intent to play football at the University of Alabama Wednesday.
Hastings is originally from Toronto, Ontario, Canada. However, he played his senior season at Clearwater Academy International in Clearwater, Florida. He made ajump on Alabama’s recruiting board after its defensive line coach Freddie Roach saw him play live earlier in the season.
Alabama offered him in September and got him on campus for an official visit in October. Hastings verbally committed to Alabama over Florida, Oregon and others on Dec. 9. The four-star recruit told Touchdown Alabama he chose the Tide because he felt it was the best school in the nation.
