Four-star cornerback Jalyn Armour-Davis committed to Alabama on June 23, and his reasoning is simple.
“Alabama is just Alabama; there isn’t anything bad about the program,” Armour-Davis told GN. “In fact, it’s really the closest thing to perfect that you will find.”
Armour-Davis (6 feet 1, 180 pounds), from Mobile (Ala.) St. Paul’s Episcopal, is among the top 20 cornerbacks in the country and a top-125 overall recruit nationally in the class of 2018.
Armour-Davis, who committed to Alabama over offers from, among others, Auburn, Florida, Florida State and Georgia, says Alabama’s success on the field in 2017 shouldn’t surprise anyone.
