Seven players with Alabama football roots have been chosen to play in the Pro Bowl for the 2017 season, with three named as starters for the NFL's annual all-star game.
The players from state high schools and colleges selected as Pro Bowl starters this season were Baltimore Ravens inside linebacker C.J. Mosley in the AFC and New York Giants strong safety Landon Collins and Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones in the NFC.
The three players were collegiate standouts at Alabama, and Jones and Mosley were prep stars in Coastal Alabama at Foley and Theodore, respectively.
