Rookies Anthony Averett, Bradley Bozeman and Darious Williams got their first taste of NFL action on Thursday night when the 2018 preseason kicked off with the annual Hall of Fame Game at Canton, Ohio.
The three rookies played for the winning team as the Baltimore Ravens took a 17-16 victory over the Chicago Bears. The Ravens have won nine consecutive preseason games.
Averett, a cornerback from Alabama, made three tackles. Williams, a cornerback from UAB, had two tackles and broke up a pass. Bradley, who played at Handley High School and Alabama, saw action at center.
