NFL training camps are opening this week. For some players, training camp is a tune-up for the regular season. For others, it’s a fight to earn a spot on the final 53-player roster. In between are the players battling to earn the starting positions that are up for grabs. Here are 14 players from Alabama high schools and colleges who are in the latter group, competing for starting spots in training camp, including former Daphne High School and Alabama star T.J. Yeldon (left), a running back for the Jacksonville Jaguars.
The former Pleasant Grove High and Samford star is in the mix for a starting spot in his rookie season.
