13 Pro Football Hall of Fame members have Alabama roots

If a recent trend holds, former Benjamin Russell High School standout Terrell Owens should start writing his induction speech for the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

The Pro Football Hall of Fame will enshrine its Class of 2017 on Saturday night in Canton, Ohio. Place-kicker Morten Andersen, running back Terrell Davis, safety Kenny Easley, team owner and general manager Jerry Jones, defensive end Jason Taylor, running back LaDainian Tomlinson and quarterback Kurt Warner will join the football shrine in a ceremony televised by NFL Network at 6 p.m. CDT Saturday.

That class does not add to the roster of players with Alabama football roots in the pro hall.
