Music is the universal language for many things.
In football, the right playlist can motivate fans and athletes for a game. At the University of Alabama, some songs have become a staple at Bryant-Denny Stadium. The fourth quarter does not feel right unless “Dixieland Delight” by Alabama is playing.
Fans have also grown fond of “Friends in low places” by Garth Brooks and “Mr. Brightside” by The Killers. Despite these songs becoming staples, students provided feedback to Alabama athletics director Greg Byrne on improving the playlist for home games. He considered their thoughts and hired a music consultant.
