The Alabama Crimson Tide hosted four-star wide receiver Henry Ruggs III (Montgomery, AL) on Saturday, which he says he enjoyed.
“It was a good day,” Ruggs said, via 247sports. “I went and hung out with Coach (Billy) Napier and Coach (Derrick) Ansley. I got to talk to Coach Saban again, too. They just emphasized that I am a priority and that whenever I am ready to make a decision, they are ready. It’s good to know because I know I can have a chance to play if I were to choose them.”
Ruggs wants to release a top 10 list before summer, and also plans on making a decision before he returns to school in the fall.
Alabama is currently the favorite to land him, but he called Florida the offer "he's always wanted."
The 6'0", 170-pounder is ranked as the No. 25 wide receiver and No. 208 overall prospect in the country. He caught 44 passes for 1,007 yards and 10 touchdowns last season.
