The Alabama Crimson Tide are the talk of the nation after taking over the #1 spot in the College Football Playoff rankings this past week. The Crimson Tide have become such a hot topic that ESPN's College GameDay will make a return trip to Tuscaloosa for Alabama's Iron Bowl matchup against the Auburn Tigers.
According to Michael Casagrande of AL.com, "College GameDay coordinating producer Lee Fitting said the popular Saturday morning show will be headed back to Tuscaloosa when Auburn travels to Alabama. Fitting made the revelation on his weekly appearance on the Paul Finebaum Show."
Fitting indicated that nothing has been set in stone, but that he has already booked his plane tickets for Alabama.
The show's visit to Tuscaloosa will be the second trip the show takes to the campus in three weeks. ESPN cameras were also on campus at the University of Alabama prior to the team's victory over the Mississippi State Bulldogs last week.
