MID-AMERICAN CONFERENCE TRACK AND FIELD ATHLETES OF THE WEEK RELEASE
CLEVELAND, Ohio - University of Akron track and field standouts senior Claudia Garcia Jou (Barcelona, Spain) and sophomores Terrell McClain (Youngstown, Ohio) and Jackie Siefring (Covington, Ohio) were tabbed by the Mid-American Conference as the MAC Track and Field Athletes of the Week, the league announced on Tuesday, April 19.
Garcia Jou was selected as the MAC Women's Field Athlete of the Week after capturing the title in the women's high jump at the Northeast Ohio Quad last Saturday, April 16, surpassing 6-0.
