CLERMONT, Fla. – Akron softball out hit Morgan State 10-to-4 but left seven runners on base as the Zips (0-5) close out the Dot Richardson Invitational with a 4-2 loss to the Bears on Sunday morning in Clermont, Fla.
"We had a very disappointing start, we did not play well and we did not look like the team that I saw practice last week," said head coach Julie Jones. "We are going to go home, we are going to work on things that we weren't very good at, and expect to come out looking very different next Friday.
